Working Apartment Fire, 1 burn victim.
A delivery driver noticed flames and smoke inside the auto parts store and called 911. The first arriving officer had light / medium smoke showing on arrival. There was a small area of fire in the middle of the building. The first engine on scene pulled (1) 1 3/4″ line and made a quick knock on the fire.
Plainville Fire Received a 9-1-1 call reporting a working house fire at 35 Treasure Island Rd, I arrived just after the first due engine and before the Ladder company. Companies made a quick attack at the fire in an enclosed porch and knocked down the fire that had extended into the attic.
May 23, 2010 – At around 2:00am, Station 56 (Somerset), and Station 44 (Middlesbush) were dispatched to the intersection of New Brunswick Rd. and Cedar Grove Ln for the reported dump truck on fire. Crews arrived to find 2 commercial vehicles well involved in fire in a landscaping yard. The fire was extinguished without incident.
