Saturday night Vehicle Wreck sends Santa Clara County Firefighters code 3 with the “Jaws of Life” (Hurst Rescue Tool) to extricate a trapped woman from and overturned convertible. 8:54 PM a call came in from a cell phone caller that a vehicle had overturned at the freeway access to Magdalena Avenue to Los Altos California. The car was traveling south bound on Highway 280 and failed to negotiate the turn the vehicle left the road and careened into the wooded area missing a large tree by inches and hitting 4 or 5 small Oak trees the car rolled at lease once and landed on its roof in the on ramp to 280. The vehicle was demolished trapping the driver upside down as it leaked fuel. CHP was first on the scene and secured the vehicle and victim trapped in side.
