Lack of training is your biggest fire risk Of the many thousands of offices, shops and factories that are gutted by fire every year, more than half probably have fire extinguishers installed. The reason for this rather shocking statistic is that even the most advanced fire fighting equipment is greatly hampered when the user is untrained. Which is why it is legally mandatory in countries like the US and UK for commercial establishments to conduct regular fire safety training programmes for their employees. Salt Lake City Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter Night Training. Fire Fighters from around the United States practice for an aircraft emergency. All ARFF need an annual live fire so as to be compliant with FAR part 139. These fire fighters are in the learning phases of this skill. This is part of a 40 hour ARFF school in March 2011.

This was from the demo of the Darley AutoCAFS pumper. We used CAFS to extingish both a vehicle fire and structure fire. When the video starts, only water is flowing through the hose, then it switches to CAFS. Notice how fast the fire goes out once CAFS starts.
