I was much bemused to come across this unusual scene! A Scania with lowloader trailer backed up to Central Fire Station, winching 205 out with the help of Ace Towing 01. A slightly more leisurely departure than 205 is accustomed to! Fire Police were there to keep traffic flowing, as Pitt Street’s four lanes were narrowed to one at the intersection with Greys Ave. To add to the occasion, Auckland 207 and 206 were called out mid-proceedings, putting a brief halt on things… I hope its nothing serious, though it’s nice to see (and hear) the Spartan around for a change!
