Leaseholder of the world trade center Larry Silverstein avoids questions. Much controversy surrounds the collapse of building 7 at the world trade center site. Silverstein said in the documentary America rebuilds that he told the firefighters fighting the fire that afternoon to …PULL IT which sounds like to most people demolish the building. And despite the official FEMA report showing no firefighters were in the building. The official FEMA report also says the building came down due to fires. Silverstein also later said PULL IT was meant as pull the firefighters out rather than demolish the building. He apparently spoke to the Fire department in the afternoon when he told them to PULL IT although the fire department Assistant chief confirmed firefighters had been ordered away from building 7 at 11:30am. “Falling debris also caused major structural damage to the building, which soon began burning on multiple floors, said Francis X. Gribbon, a spokesman for the Fire Department. By 11:30 am, the fire commander in charge of that area, Assistant Chief Frank Fellini, ordered firefighters away from it for safety reasons.” – New York Times (11/29/01) fact: in all the history of high-rise fires, not one has ever resulted in a collapse.
