For this technique to work, the integrity of the surrounding area must be strong enough to support the weight of the rescue attempt. Watch for a fairly large explosion around 3:38. Truck 13 was dispatched to a reported brush fire at 2994 Burr at about 10:40am on 11-11-09, on arrival Truck 13 requested a full still for a working fire in a makeshift storage building loaded with oil, gasoline, acetylene tanks, and car parts. Multiple lines were stretched to bring the fire under control along with the use of a front end loader used to open the “building”. Nobody was injured at the fire scene and investigators were on scene working. Awesome job done by GFD, 1st turn
