Dies wollte man ändern.

Apartment fire in Mobile
I responded to a fire next door to a relative. A vehicle caught on fire, and set the wall on fire as well. Just missed the flames, they had already been extinguished by the time I arrived. It happened in September 2008 on Barnside Place at Countryside Village. No one was hurt.

arlingtoncardinal.com Notice the Fire Engine Air Horn blasts at just after 0:49 … the signal for all firefighters to evacuate the building. NOW! It’s a little hard to hear because I am closer to a second fire engine running that was not sounding its air horn. At about 5:15 and later Fireground command is communicating with an interior attack crew (can’t see them in the video). An exterior line attack crew comes to the back and they are told not hit the fire in the ceiling because there is a crew inside. If the hose is turned on that ceiling fire while the crew is inside those firefighters can be burned by the water that turns to steam as it hits the fire. They can also be hit by falling burning debris from the force of the water pressure. As soon as the interior attack crew exits, the firefighter in the backyard hits the ceiling fire and knocks it down.

September 28th structure fire. E-1 Brandon Lane (Helmet Camera) FF 2 in short film was Dustin Ward. Chief was on scene speaking with homeowners. Dean King arrived POV. The Helmet Camera turned off after that, but we had very little help, we did have a tanker show up. Keep your eye on What goes on. FF 1 (Brandon L) initially pulled 1-1 3/4″ handline while sizing the scene up making sure he got a check of all 4 sides of the mobile home. The charlie-delta and delta-alpha side “C” Side of the mobile home was saved other than minor smoke damages. Inititally there were not enough FF’s on scene to make an interior attack and as you can see wouldn’t have been made anyways due to the conditions! RISK A LITTLE TO SAVE A LITTLE has been pounded in these firefighters head!!!!! OMNIS CEDO DOMUS BROTHERS ENJOY! -Check out the heavy black smoke boiling out of the front door after its forced open. www.arlingtoncards.com SAT APR 07 2007 — One mobile home a total loss and extension to a second trailer home near O’Hare International Airport. Elk Grove Township Fire Protection District calls for a Second Alarm Box at 400 West Touhy Avenue in Des Plaines, IL. Firefighter operations shown in this video. Also, a group of residents nearby helped firefighters by moving two vehicles away from the front curb of the fire scene. See www.arlingtoncards.com Four wheel jack devices, such as a GoJak Wheel Dolly or Vehicle Lift were used by placing the jacks underneath the tires of the vehicles and using a built-in foot ratchet to lift the cars enough to move them safely while their transmissions remained in park. You can see the second vehicle (a Ford Explorer) getting ratcheted up (1:03/3:10 or 2:07 remaining) and then pushed away (1:14/3:10 or 1:56 remaining). The fire scene was too tight with fire engines and hoses to allow a tow truck to come in and move the cars.
