At 2023 hours, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched companies 26 and 8 to 3845 Buck Hill Circle in Lowhill for a House fire. Fire dispatcher reports additional info as a chimney fire with possible extension into the walls. Upon arrival, command reported heavy smoke showing and struck the second alarm. The area lacks fire hydrants due to its rural geographics. Tankers supplied water to the scene which delayed and hampered firefighters from attacking the fire quickly. The house is large, at over 4600 sq. ft., but as you can see, it didn’t take long for the flames to destroy a house of this size.
