Salt Lake City Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter Night Training. Fire Fighters from around the United States practice for an aircraft emergency. All ARFF need an annual live fire so as to be compliant with FAR part 139. These fire fighters are in the learning phases of this skill. This is part of a 40 hour ARFF school in March 2011.

Firefighters responding to a “still alarm” fire in the street found a carport and part of the house fully involved in fire and struck a 1st alarm for additional equipment.

At around 2:30pm crews from station 2 were dispatched to a reported garage fire at 2700 Allen, on arrival Fire 6 advised of heavy smoke showing from a frame garage. After a few seconds residents were able to restrain a dog on the property and and fire crews arrived on scene. One line was stretched to bring the fire und…er control. Multiple witnesses confirmed kids were in the garage just before it was engulfed in flames, arson investigators and police detectives were on scene working. There were no injuries reported at the fire scene

Fire caused by rags in the garage after staining the deck. The owners were not home and the neighbors noticed it when the gas tank of the car in the garage exploded.

Just as Lake Station crews were clearing form a fire in New Chicago dispatch advised of a house with thick black smoke billowing from it, on arrival Car 1 advised of a fully engulfed house. Crews made an aggressive attack on the fire bringing it under control in about 25 minutes. The homeowners barley made it out of th…e house according to neighbors. No injuries were reported at the fire scene and investigators were working on cause and origin.

SEE PART ONE- My Neighbor was sleeping when another neighbor knocked on his door. When he came outside, he found his house had caught fire. Also photos: www.myfoxatlanta.com And no, the house was not totally destroyed. However, they will need to gut it out. Pretty close to being ‘totally destroyed’.

A historic building in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah was destroyed by a massive, fast-moving fire late Wednesday night. The building was home to a nightclub until 1995 but has been vacant ever since. (Jan. 24)
