This video is bystander footage from a single family house fire in the Boulevard Heights section of Prince Georges County, Maryland. First arriving units found fire involving the front portion of the home and extending into the addition. A circle check, clear basement, and the lack of a roof in involved section showed first arriving units that an aggressive interior attack was warranted. Watch as engine crews from PG County station 26 and 8 show what 2 well placed and advanced 1 1/2″ attack lines can do to a fire. Based on popular demand of monday morning quarterbacks and keyboard heroes, this video has been rereleased with after pictures of the house. Dispatched as a vehicle fire with extension into the house. As you see in the video, there is a good amount on extension. This cam is a great tool to use for critiques of any type call and great for training. A great job on the call with stopping the fire I think. There was only 1200 gallons of water used on the whole fire. Let me know what you think. Part 1.
