LAFD does it all in this dynamic incident. They encounter heavy fire on arrival at this 2nd floor corner of a multi-unit building. While LAFD knocks down the blaze, the building manager, seen walking towards the fire in the opening shot, suddenly goes down with a full arrest heart attack a few minutes later across the street. Lucky for him, as ALS medics are on scene and get him going again.

LSFD was dispatched to a reported fire in the area of the American Legion Hall on Central. First unit on scene (Fire Six) Advised of a working fire which was clear as day from Cemtral and Dekalb. I have to say, this was team work and great communication at its best. Multiple lines were pulled and an aggressive exterior attack waas made. Nobody was injured and investigators will be working the scene. Just a note, this building was raided about two months ago by LSPD for distribution so one can guess this was arson. Major props to the Lake Station FD. Special thanks to Car 6, Car 4, Chief James, and last but not least Car 2. Thank you for all your efforts in town!!!!!!
