DOTHAN: A barn is fully engulfed in flames at Landmark Park. Thick, heavy black smoke is visible from over 2 miles away. Dothan Fire is responding. The barn in question was the Maintenance Barn in far back of the park. The barn was a total loss, however fire fighter were able to keep it from spreading to other structures located near by.

I responded to a fire next door to a relative. A vehicle caught on fire, and set the wall on fire as well. Just missed the flames, they had already been extinguished by the time I arrived. It happened in September 2008 on Barnside Place at Countryside Village. No one was hurt.

Fire crews from Highland and Griffith FD’s battled a stuborn basement fire that destroyed a 1 story brick ranch at 3025 Garfield, all residents got out in time. Multiple lines were pulled and the master stream was used to knock the fire down. Crews remained on scene for several hours and investigators were on scene working. Nobody was injured at the fire scene
