Three people are reported dead after a powerful explosion ripped through an apartment building in the north-east of Moscow. The blast occurred between the 11th and 12th floors of the 22-storey building on Academic Korolyov street at around 7pm local time.
First reported as a bench set on fire, building reported filled with smoke. Engine 1 investigates to find smoke in an apartment, striking a box alarm for a building fire. Further investigation shows smoke in apartment from now well involved brush fire, box is cancled but the next due tanker, truck and squad are kept enroute to assist with low water pressure on hydrants in the area. Fire knocked and under control EST 1 hour.
