There was an apartment fire at my apartment complex on the South Hill in Spokane today, 5/13/09. It wasn’t in the building I live in…but…it was still something to see and be a bit shocked by. I took a bit of video using my digital camera. This is one angle- we were walking outside to go run errands when this was going on. (We didn’t get those errands done that day, obviously- roads were blocked off and there were fire trucks in front of our garage!) Supposedly it had been worse earlier but I didn’t see. But the unit as well as several others got gutted and damaged…

PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – Firefighters are on the scene of an apartment fire in Plainfield Township. The fire sparked after 3 am Friday morning in the 3100 block of Pleasant Grove Terrace. Police say as many as six units at the Hidden Valley Apartments were affected but no one was injured. Plainfield Township firefighters were aided on scene by firefighters from the Cannon Township Fire Department and the City of Grand Rapids Fire Department. Kent County Sheriff’s deputies also responded to assist with firefighting efforts.

This is raw video that I shot of the fire at Meadowview Apartments building F. I also provided portions to ABC 12 News (WJRT-TV). Yes, I know the video is shaky, I recorded it on a small digital camera in cold weather.

After videoing this Fire I meet Anzhelika and her cousin David who got arrested at the Fire at Centerville Park Apartments on #15 Tonywood Circle Friday, June 5, 2009 ironically 24 years ago I lived on same street at #44 Tonywood when I was 19 yrs old and gave birth to my first son while living here in 1985.

An early morning apartment building fire that occurred on Monday morning, October 18th, 2010 at The Kennedy Ridge Apartments in South East Denver, Colorado. The Denver Fire Department did a fine job in getting that fire out as quickly as possible. Some local residences at the complex helped those trapped on the apartment balconies to escape.
