A fine ode to collegues on the other side of this planet. We all know the risk but we try to prepare as best as we can and when the alarm sounds we go. These brave men paid the ultimate price in their effort to save others. Rest in peace fine collegues, I bow my head in deep respect.

Geez, this was wicked sad. I didn’t realize a lot of the guys were younger than 45. My father was in his cruiser blocking off 290 on the bridge. He couldn’t believe how hot it was even from that distance. It was so sad listening to everything going down on the scanner.

I was working my last night work on that “go round” the night they perished.. It was also the largest L.O.D.D. funeral i had attended prior to 9/11… it really hit home since i was on radio watch and it came across the news.. Even though im in philly, i started to cry thinking about the wives and children left behind .I still have the original W6 sticker on my truck and helmet..Still wear the memorial shirt weekly, i cant believe it has been almost 10 years since the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE! R.I.P.

WAAF are the call letters of the radio station that put the remix together. It is 107.3 out of Boston.

    Great Tribute.

I marched in the procession the day of the memorial service. It was chilling how all you could hear was marching feet. Not a sound from the thousands of people along the route except occasional applause. RIP brothers.

I think Creed makes the most fitting songs for the topic of my videos.

I didn’t create the videos to express my chosen style of music. I made them to honor past, present, and future firefighters especially the ones who answered their last alarm.

    yeah, you like creed

  25. somervillefire says:

That’s what happened. The bystander was the owner of the diner. He knew the homeless people becasue he used to give them food. He was so torn up about the Six.
