Video Rating: 4 / 5

@jakecfd8 ohhh no, not tunnel vision. lol
damn, stop spining in circles!! Help i’m new what do i do ?
wow, some DFB’s on this video, haha
Good video but could you put on music instead of the horrible audio that every helmet cam has
thats true
hahaha what fire school did you go to… you never put your mask on while enroute. ! the change in temp out side the truck will fog your mask and 2 you will not be able to see the whole scene and where you have fire at!!!!
The first in officer decided he wanted to try to go in and do and attack
My guys didnt go in thats all that matters. I already knew while in route we were doing an exterior attack
awsome man sound not that great but the vid realy put it in your face what a firefighter sees
house blown off foundation??? interior attack?? lookin for a funeral huh
It doesn’t matter if it is paid on call or not.
nobody ever likes anyone else’s comand
nice video but i seen LOT OF things i didnt like command wise
i agree with you….this department has to be paid on call or something
yes a mi me paso
No your mask should not be on!! If you put it on in the truck you will become tunnel vision WAIT until your at the front door to see what ya have then put your mask on> why turn your pack on before you put it on?
good video… need some command on scene i think, and there seems to be a lot of yard breathers. btw where im from you hardly ever put you mask on in the truck unless its a working fire w/ trapped victim. just makes other fire ground operations easier in my opion. keep working and stay safe
Thats your response? Really? When was the last time you saw a 300 pound man win the Tour De France? Or a 300 pound soccer player? Or a 240 pound soccer player? The point is that, yeah you might be strong but your cardio is probably not near where it needs to be. When we went through recruit school it was not uncommon to run 5 or 6 miles every morning. (BTW, You turn your bottle on before you put the pack on and if you know its burning your mask should be on already.)
On the other side what if ur the one who goes down and there is only one other guy inside. If u way 300 + (not that u do)do u really think hes going to be able to drage ur ass out. I’m not saying u can’t do the job but just take into account if ur being a bigger risk than u r help.
for it being a camera the size of your thumb its not to bad
why do helmet cams suck for audio? you cant hear shit except clicking and rumbling noises
did this guy do any work? i saw him pull a line and maybe help hoist a ladder, but mostly I saw him walking around. I agree you should be able to turn on your own air pack. duh! this job is about maximizing your time and energy, and getting things done, not looking around for someone to do a task for you because you can’t do it. and why weren’t you guys ready to go in when you got off the truck? in the future, post videos that highlight your attributes, just a thought.
I agree with spikes17, sure you have your brothers there to help you if something goes down, but what if one of them goes down, are you going to be able to save them? you should always be able to get yourself out of any situation, the bro’s are there for those rare cases when the shit hits the fan. you have to be in shape to do this job, period. if not, then please, stay by the pump where you belong.
i agree totaly i am 260 and a volunteer firefighter ,And i agree with both of you all the way i mean it is called the brother hood we realy on each other to help us out in everyway possiable wether it is doing that or something i mean D@#% comeone they might be the one to save your A#$@ ,It is to make sure everyone comes home safe and alive ,Great video and great job stay safe , 5 stars all the way around
awesome vid
