the mom should have been smacked a good one her cig about killed them all

  2. alphafirefighter says:

the cop kicking in the door could have made that room flashover……plus he just added air to that fire

  3. tinjmail says:

It’s better to scream “FIRE” in any dire situation because there are people who would not respond to the word “help.”

  4. jaffacake1578 says:

thats why you should have working decent smoke alarms people…

  6. PTPLauthor says:

She COULDN’T it was too hot, if she had tried to rescue the girl herself, all three of them could have died.

  7. sexigurl112 says:

didnt seem as if she was bothered, i mean if that was me i would have been screaming for them to get my baby

  8. halomaster253 says:

actually thats a good point so whoever thumbs downed this listen up. By him kicking in the door he rapidly introduced oxygen into the room and if the conditions were right would have caused a backdraft or flashover

  9. ejs19651 says:

as he stated he didn’t have time if he was going to save the girl.

  10. ejs19651 says:

don’t know why you got 3 thumbs down for your comment apparently alot of people don’t know much about fire.

  11. ejs19651 says:

just because a department is volunteer does not mean it takes longer to respond.i have been a vfd. for 5 yrs and our response time is just as good as any paid department.

  12. allgood2000 says:

She tried, but the girl was in the other bedroom, and the smoke and heat were so intense that she couldn’t get out of her own bedroom.

  13. rockinfireman95 says:

my company is vollie and we get new gear every 3 years and we have brand new rigs 500 grand each

  14. CloneTrooper74 says:

I mean this in the most sensible possible way…..the fire department is ALL volunteer meaning they are often times NOT paid they have a budget that helps them meet their equipment and vehicle maintenance etc but are otherwise non-compensated

  15. jpalmer26 says:

career or volunteer it doesnt matter i know volunteer stations that smoke career stations in so thats not even a factor

  16. svfd930 says:

Very nice work by police and fire.Although the place should have a fire alarm system. You also have to consider that the FD was volunteer and takes longer to respond.

    Wow.

  21. angeljapan says:

Please remember this took place in 1991. That kind of technology didn’t really exist back then. I’m sure it’s the case now though.

    I WANT PIZZA NOW!!

  23. skydemonairpirates says:

@THEMIKON8ER: the series is not on DVD. There is no other way to put the episodes up without doing that for now.

  24. skydemonairpirates says:

f she had another kid in there, why didn’t she turn around and grab the child before she turned around and got out herself?

  25. THEMIKON8ER says:

These vintage, old-generation videotapes make Picture & Sound quality less than desirable.
