More abuse of authority by the New York City Traffic Enforcement Agency. In this video , I spot a traffic enforcement vehicle parked blocking a fire hydrant.I went searching for the driver and found him in the bank a block away from his vehicle. He admitted that he is not allowed to park blocking a fire hydrant , but claimed there was an emergency. Then I told him that I had him on video leaving the bank.He got nervous and apologized.
FIRE DESTROYS HOME – The cause of a fire that destroyed a Town of Koshkonong home Monday afternoon remains under investigation. Fort Atkinson firefighters were dispatched to the home of Randy and Susan Langholff at N1260 County Highway K at 1:12 pm The couple purchased the property in 1999 and spent nearly three years living in a trailer while building the home. This afternoon, their soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Libby Gernetzke, had stopped by to check on their dogs, Etta and Guenther, and eat lunch. She saw nothing amiss when she first arrived, although the dogs already had found their own way outside, which was not unusual. Gernetzke told fire officials that she observed white smoke coming out of the dryer vent in the home and then punched in a code to open the garage door. When the garage door opened, black smoke came billowing out and she called 911. When firefighters arrived on the scene, the garage and significant portions of the remainder of the home were engulfed in flames. Mutual aid was requsted from MIlton, Whitewater, Johnson Creek and other area fire departments. No one was injured as a result of the fire. The home, valued at nearly 0000, was a total loss. In the video above, firefighters battle the blaze as it consumes the Langholff’s home. Video by Cathy Price. See the full story at DailyUnion.com along with other local news from Jefferson County

The Marder is a German infantry fighting vehicle operated by the German Army as the main weapon of the Panzergrenadiere (mechanized infantry) from the 1970s through the present day. Developed as part of the rebuilding of Germany’s armoured fighting vehicle industry, the Marder has proven to be a successful and solid infantry fighting vehicle design. While it does include a few unique features, such as the fully remote machine gun on the rear deck, it is overall a simple and conventional machine with rear exit hatch and side gun ports for mounted infantry to fire through. Its successor, the Puma, is under development.
