I support legal immigrants but i also feel that amount of them should be reduced. we already let in 3 million LEGAL ones per year.
i’m not sure how much more our envoriment can take the impact let alone the multiple millions of illegals that enter.

Illegal immigration has been happening since the 1940s. LEGAL immigration is what we had before that. people actually had to wait in line to get in here and not everyone got in. I speak from my family’s experience.

The idea of “illegal immigration” is a recent political creation. When the borders were wide open, the same migrant work force crossed it, then went home.
By “closing the borders” the cost of crossing that line has become so high that doing it twice is prohibitive.
“Illegals” is, just like Al Capone, a creation of the prohibition itself.
The overwhelming majority of Americans are the result of recent immigration, so while they might be able to add 2 and 2, they haven’t figured out the base hypocrisy that is “closed borders”. I attribute that to public school and deliberate political manipulations, because I do not consider most people to be consciously malicious.
The forced MSM opinions also apply to immigration.
