That's the first thing I said when I watched it. The only thing I can say is that they had to wait for the chief to sound the evacuate the building horn before they could put water on it from the exterior because they would drown their own men that were inside at the time however, I,m sure they could have been doing something. Most of the firefighters that were hanging around were mutual aid men from surrounding towns. All the men inside were from the Norwood FD. I know exactly what you mean. Having send that though, the men inside should've been able to knock it down WAY before it got to the point where it was shooting out the window then to the roof. There was a fire about 3 years ago near my old apartment building which was probably the size this one was at the beginning and our FD able to keep that from even getting anywhere near the point this one got. By the way... who ever taught him to set up command directly beneath power lines, especially with sticks up and working nearby. In the spirit of Bugs Bunny, what a maroon!
