    What no ‘ThunderStruck’ music playing? Every Bradley video features that song for some reason.

    Sounds like what most humans do to trick others into siding with them….

    How lethal is a 25mm chaingun? What damage can it do? What is it use for? Why not install a 50. cal gun instead of the chaingun? 50. cal is a more effective anti-personnel weapon after all..

    I loved using the Bradley’s in Iraq, the A3s though. The armor is the only draw back to the system. The sight system and the 25mm with to coaxial in the turret makes this thing a real asset in night operations.

    The BEST AFV on the Allied side of the world. I’d like to see it go head to head with BMDs and those chinese “Modern medium tanks”.

  20. DonMeaker says:

    @wekker090 25mm can penetrate about 7 inches of RHS. I know ceramics are pretty good, and that much extra armor would be Zaftig, but possible.

  21. wekker090 says:

    @DonMeaker YEs I know top and bottom armour is diffrent then the sides.. but penetrating a Leo 2 A5 or higher with 25 or 30 mm no way..
    Was in a test group 8 years ago , what a blast :-)
    The new lepards have axtra hull protection and ammo storage has been greatly improved.

  22. DonMeaker says:

    @wekker090 Top or bottom are harder to armor. 25mm against hatchs usually works pretty well to, but I have no experience against Leo II.

  23. ThePanzerWarMachine says:

    @sm58nik

    Yes, He Does. It is known in germany as ”Flecktarn”.

  24. tbilisicentral says:

    and given that Bushmaster has better trajectory charasteristic than a russian 30mm autocannon, the russian piece can slice throuth 100mm of armor at 500m. the Bushmaster, with DU rods, can do a better job, at a greater range. but yea head on, no IFV can survive the tank, only by using some kind of ATGM. as i said in my previous post, there is a chance if an IFV is well concealed and will ambush the tanks. in a lower part of the tank, a hull and engine compartment.

  25. tbilisicentral says:

    @wekker090 not the frontal armor, of cource, the side armor. especially the hull, where its no greater than 90mm homogenous steel plate. and it can go throught the side armor of the leopard turret, closer to the rear in the ammo storage. there are several vids/testimonies how Bradley was called in to take out hit Abrams tanks, with the shots to the side and rear.
