Baghdad Fire Department-Green Zone-Baghdad, Iraq
All Civilian, first non-Iraqi Fire dept ever in Iraq. Covered entire Green Zone-all the Coalition forces, political personnel and iraqi civilians. We covered about 5 square miles. This is dedicated to all the US military personnel and everyone who is in Iraq away from our families.

@ffmark94
This will give you some idea, but things have changed a lot since this video was made. All of our rigs are american built now. The war side of it has scaled down a lot. It’s still a good experience though.
@notobeanassbut
(Knock on wood) None of our guys have been lost. We run out of 5 stations, can’t really get into numbers of personnel though.
this really gives me the best understanding as too what to expect. i have all paperwork in and just waiting on my physical and passport…Thank you for sharing your expierences.
pretty cool! did you lose any guys over there? hope not. how many guys were in a station at a time?
Breathless action and complex intrigue, The pacing was strong, the casting was perfect, very good movie…I am grateful I found this movie streaming and it is free at

@KombiPode
That’s a pretty ignorant and stupid thing to say….You obviously don’t know anything about the Green Zone or it’s residents.

People who lived in the green zone have no idea what it was like out there and what terror and horror the Americans brought to Iraq.
GREAT video. Thanks for your service!!
I just left the IZ…SUCKS now….used to be relatively cheesy duty…it just sucks now….the were supposed to close the CSH on the 15th…dont get hurt if u go there!!!!
Green zone security: there is none.
Pull the troops out or stay at the bases until they sort out the mess themselves. Do not add blame by entering the mix. KEEP Put until they beg you for assistance.

We are all civilian contractors supporting the military, the coalition, and everyone involved in the Iraq mission.
I’m going to give the Baghdad fire department credit for being over there in danger and still have passion to fight fires. Anyone know what branch firefighters they are? Army or Air Force?
From an American Vollie. Stay safe brothers.
An amazing, incredibly powerful video. Thank you for your service.
I’m doing it!!! I’ve got apps in all over, c’mon baby!!!!
Nail the green zone!

Someone should sell the iraqis about 50,000 heavy mortas so they can wipe the green zone off the face of the plaent.
Great photography, great editing! Thanks for posting. It is so cool to be able to see first hand accounts of what’s been happening in Iraq.
