All hands in Harlem, Manhattan FDNY
Multiple calls came into the fire alarm office reporting a 5th floor apartment fire at this apartment complex 450 West 190th street in the Harlem section of Manhattan, NY around 1pm on Feb 28th, 2010. First arriving companies reported a heavy smoke condition on the 5th floor. An additional engine and truck was requested as the fire was being attacked. All hands went to work and contained the fire to the 5th floor apartment. 8 inches of snow fell the night before making getting around a little difficult.
