dude this is an awesome video and i really hope that your deal goes through with the network this is an awesome view into the life that we live every single day, we see things that no human being should and we come home to our family and tell them that it was nothing. this really should bring a new respect for everyone who works in emergency services.
Be safe out there

I am a Volunteer with a dept in Texas and these are lots of the things we see and the hardest things are when you roll up on scene and it is a child or teen you know and the they are gone never to say hello or goodbye and it is hard as a Firefighter to live with these things but thats what I do FVFD # 934
Rlettjr17 – the first song is Adiemus by the group Adiemus and the second is Bring Me to Life by Evanescence.
Great job on the video!
I’ve been wanting to see something like this on Tru TV.
Awesome.
This looks awesome and at like 3:15 when the helmet cam films him fog nozzling the fire, its a badass shot. But why do they show a firefighter at the end running on air? makes no sense lol.
I love the idea and the approach you took but there are some things that I think may help you raise the quality.
1. Make sure you have clear audio. avoid the background noise especially during interviews.
2. Pay attention to lighting. Never have your interview subject backlit if you can help it.
3. Framing is important. avoid excessive headroom (space above subject’s head to the top of the frame).
Keep at it!
If this were ever to become a show I would watch! Looks awsome! You need to come to Prince George’s County, but you can skip 33, since they already has their own series on the web. Great music!
Awesome Trailer….As a LT in the fire service as well I would love to see this sort of documentary on television, people really need to see the other side of the volunteer fire/ems that we go through. Love the video and music, anybody know what the soundtrack is called?
Outstanding! It’s about time somebody made a quality documentary about the men and women who serve everyday within our fire services so that the public has a better understanding of the job we do and the trials we face. Both physically and emotionally.
Very well done. Hope you get it on national television. People need to see what we go through. will do what we can to pass this on to all vol. depts.
love the trailer about time people see what we really do & how we train & what we know.
This is a kick ass video man! Very well done!
looks great!!!
Nice work…
Many VFDs choose to be VFDs so that they may utilize the 60%+ budget lost on paid departments for staffing, utilizing it for equipment and training.
Can’t wait to see it..GREAT VID…God please be with us firefighters as we do our calling.
